Excruciatingly Beautiful: Dark and Minimalist.
This exhibition tells a story through poetry and painting.
The exhibition is a door to the deep feelings that result from lived experiences of discrimination. Communicating how it feels is essential to inspire people to stop it, fight and speak up in different ways.
Art helped me recover from the intense impact it had on me living in different countries and situations exposed to different people, cultures and social standards. Art was a way to find and create peace for myself at times I have been attacked for who I am and now I use it to ask for peace for us all. I have been  developing skills and techniques, working with different materials; canvas, cardboard, and ceramic. I find inspiration everywhere, which inevitably filters down into my work.
